My name is Beth.
Not Liz, Lizzy, Eliza, or Elizabeth.
Just Beth.
I've never been married, don't have any kids.
I was born on a Thursday in Dallas, Texas.
My favorite question is "why?"
Maybe that explains why I can't settle. I have places to go. Ideas to think. I don't have time to settle down.
never seemed to be in step with others, wandering in the dark forest rather than the regular path. (In Texas, we think bigger than most, and believe it's possible.)
I used to want a tattoo. I couldn't decide on what. Then everybody started getting one. It's become too cliché. Now I'm glad I don't have one. My art is on my walls and in my journals. I have natural tats anyway--they're called freckles. I love them all!
I went to Sam Houston High School (Go, Broncos!), McNeese State University (Go, Pokes!), and University of Texas (Hook 'em Horns!). My home is Texas, my mission field, Louisiana.
I love writing. I've always written and read things. Words are so...cool.
I love medicine. The way God made us, physically, emotionally, mentally--all housing our spiritual soul. It's amazing. And to work with kids. They're the best.
I've got a little Irish, French, and Scot in me--I'm sure somewhere there's a spot of English. But, if you ask--I'm a Texan and proud to be an American.
